The picture quality is great. Granted this is the first HDTV that I have purchased, but I have certainly been exposed to many over the past few years and this model certainly stands up very well. The levels are easily adjustable should you feel so inclined. As for the audio, the speakers are quite powerful. Thus far we’ve not experienced any of the synching problems that a few others have mentioned. Overall this is a great TV at a fraction of the cost of many of the other “name” brands. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
